Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia registration fee increases for 2019/20

19 Sep 2019

The Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (the Board) has announced the national registration fee for 2019/20.

The Board has increased the registration fee, limiting the increase to indexation at 3%, for medical radiation practice profession to $191.

The fee for practitioners whose principal place of practice is New South Wales is $1401.

A full fee schedule, including the fee arrangements for practitioners whose principal place of practice is NSW, is published on the Board’s website.

The Board’s decision to increase the fee for the 2019/20 period ensures the Board, the Accreditation Committee and AHPRA sufficient income to allow it to carry their respective duties and protect the public.

Practitioner registration fees fund the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (the National Scheme) and support the Board, the Accreditation Committee and AHPRA’s continuing efforts to develop a safe and mobile Australian workforce for registered health practitioners and the public in the most efficient way possible.

The Board is committed to keeping the fee as low as possible, while meeting its regulatory obligations to protect the public.
