There are vacancies arising for community members with no jurisdictional requirement on the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
The National Registration and Accreditation Scheme has an important role in ensuring the health workforce is culturally safe, respectful, responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ needs and promotes the elimination of racism in health care.
To help achieve this, we are committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on National Boards and warmly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply.
We are also committed to increasing diversity and social inclusion on National Boards. Applications are encouraged from people in rural and remote areas, people with a disability, people who identify as LGBTIQA+ and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Applications are sought from registered medical radiation practitioners for appointment to the Registration and Notifications Committee (RNC) of the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
The RNC is a delegated decision-making committee and makes decisions on registration and notification matters regarding medical radiation practitioners.
The National Boards and Ahpra have an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples health and contributes to the elimination of racism in the provision of health services.
To achieve this, we have committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on Boards and committees.
