The Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (Board) may already recognise your medical radiation practice qualification for general registration. This will make your pathway to registration in Australia quicker.
Use the following information to see if the Board recognises your qualification.
The Board has recognised the regulators below as comparable regulators for medical radiation practice, for the divisions of diagnostic radiographer and radiation therapist only.
If you completed a qualification within the listed date range, that was accredited by a comparable regulator, the Board considers your qualification to be substantially equivalent, or based on similar competencies, to an approved qualification; you are qualified for general registration as a medical radiation practitioner. For information on how to apply, go to the Applying for registration page.
Check whether your qualification was accredited (approved) at the time of completion using the following links.

For your qualification to be recognised, it must exactly match the qualification listed below. This includes the division, institution, qualification title and award year.
If your qualification does not exactly match, or if it is not listed in any of the tables, your qualification is not recognised by the Board. You will need to apply to have your qualification portfolio assessed. For information, go to the Assessment of international qualifications page.
The listed qualifications have a curriculum focus on Radiation Therapy/Therapeutic Radiography. Specifically, the following standalone qualifications are recognised on this basis.
