The Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia currently has the following Committees:
The Committee assesses all immediate action and notification matters relating to medical radiation practitioners and medical radiation students. The Committee also decides technical or complex applications for registration or renewal of registration.
The Committee oversees the assessment of qualifications of those who were trained or educated overseas. The Committee makes recommendations on the suitability of an individual’s qualification to the Registration and Notifications Committee.
The Committee develops registration standards, policies and guidelines. The Committee advises and makes recommendations to the Board on strategic policy and research matters.
The Committee oversees the development, implementation and provisioning of the Board’s examination.
