Are you graduating soon? Here’s what you need to know about registration.

This free, one-hour webinar by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (the Board) will cover:

  • why you need to be registered 
  • the role of the Board 
  • the role of AHPRA 
  • your obligations as a practitioner, including:
    • registration standards requirements 
    • guidelines 
    • mandatory notifications, and 
    • the Code of Conduct
  • the registration process, including
    • when and how to apply 
    • registration costs 
    • certifying documents and completing documentation 
    • supervised practice, and 
    • how to contact AHPRA and how we will contact you.

The webinar will include a Q&A session with the presenter, Christopher Hicks, a practitioner member of the Board.

Technical tips

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from GoToWebinar containing information about joining the webinar.

To participate, you will need a computer connected to the internet and headphones or speakers to hear the broadcast. The email confirming your registration will contain a link to join the webinar on the GoToWebinar website.

If you would like to attend the presentation using a tablet or mobile phone, GoToWebinar is available as an app for Apple and Android devices. If using a tablet or mobile phone, you will need to enter the webinar ID number from your confirmation email.
