Supervisor training

The Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (the Board) offers Teaching On The Run (TOTR) workshops for medical radiation practitioners. TOTR is a national program that helps improve the quality of teaching, of healthcare practitioners and students. It is suitable for all levels of qualified practitioners.

This year, the Board is excited to be introducing Mentoring On The Run (MOTR) workshops for medical radiation practitioners, to support the ongoing learning and capabilities of practitioners.

Workshops for 2025

TOTR – Teaching on the Run

The Board has finalised the schedule of TOTR programs for 2025 which are summarised below:

• 15-16 May – face to face in Melbourne CBD, location to be finalised (26 positions for each day)
• 14-15 August – face to face in Sydney CBD, location to be finalised (26 positions for each day)
• 4, 11 and 18 June – online (14 positions for each date)

The Board is pleased to advise that due to popular demand in August 2025, the following additional dates have been added to the TOTR schedule:

• 9-10 October – face to face in Sydney CBD, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park (26 positions for each day)
• 16-17 October – face to face in Sydney CBD, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park (26 positions for each day)

MOTR – Mentoring on the Run

The Board has introduced the schedule of MOTR programs for 2025 which are summarised below:

• 23 May – face to face in Melbourne CBD, location to be finalised (14 positions)
• 12 September – face to face in Sydney CBD, location to be finalised (14 positions)
